Safety Rights, Responsibilities and Resources (IIPP)

Why do UCSB workers need to take Safety Rights, Responsibilities and Resources training session?

As a UCSB worker you have a number of safety-related rights, responsibilities and resources that, by law, you need to be informed about. The online training module (~15 min.) provides this information. It is based on worker safety regulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (Cal-OSHA) Injury & Illness Prevention Program.

Which training courses should I take?

   Course is titled: Safety Rights, Responsibilities and Resources (IIPP) for Non-Supervisors (TR29)

   Course is titled: Safety Rights, Responsibilities and Resources (IIPP) for Office Supervisors (TR25)

   Course is titled: Safety Rights, Responsibilities and Resources (IIPP) for Physical Trades Supervisors (TR27)

  1. I am a LABORATORY WORKER who uses hazardous materials/processes. Click here.
  2. I am an EMPLOYEE and DO NOT supervise employee(s). Enroll via the UC Learning Center and login using your UCSB netID. To find course within the UCLC, enter “TR29” in the “Search” function.
  3. I am a SUPERVISOR primarily supervising office staff. Enroll via the UC Learning Center and login using your UCSB netID. To find course within the UCLC, enter “TR25” in the “Search” function.
  4. I am a SUPERVISOR working with skilled trade employee(s), (i.e., maintenance, kitchen, shops, physical labor, etc.). Enroll via the UC Learning Center and login using your UCSB netID. To find course within the UCLC, enter “TR27” in the “Search” function.
