Definition: Hazard Assessment Surveys are conducted by EH&S staff for UCSB employees concerned about potential chemical, biological, physical (noise, heat stress) or radioactive hazards in their workplace. Exposure Assessments can be conducted for employees who think they might have been exposed to above listed hazards.

Fire/Life Safety: For assistance with fire/life safety related hazards: call x3785, x7751, x4407 or x3194
Laboratory Safety: For assistance with laboratory related chemical or non-chemical hazards/exposures: Call x4899, x8243, or x3194
Occupational Health/Industrial Hygiene: For assistance with non-laboratory chemical and physical (noise, heat stress) hazards/exposures, call x3743, x8787 or x3194
Radiation Safety: For assistance with radioactive hazards/exposures: call x7255, x3588 or x3194
