The Clery Act – Annual Fire Safety Report & 60 Day Fire Log

The university is committed to providing a safe and secure campus environment for our students, faculty, staff and visitors. In accordance with the “Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act” (Clery Act), Environmental Health & Safety’s Fire Protection Division publishes an Annual Fire Safety Report and maintains a 60 Day Fire Log to ensure reasonable and consistent notification of fire related incidents within on-campus student housing facilities. The Annual Fire Safety Report contains fire safety-related policy statements as well as on-campus student housing facilities’ fire statistics for the most recent three calendar years. The 60 Day Fire Log is a record of fires that have occurred in on-campus student housing facilities for the most recent 60-day period. A hard copy of the AFSR or 60-day fire log can be provided upon request by calling the Campus Fire Marshal’s office at 805.893.5848.
