This one-time training is required for those who have responsibility for animals in a research facility. The training outlines local emergency scenarios, animal responder tasks, and addresses how a response will be handled. Trainees are encouraged to read the ‘Animal Facilities Disaster Contingency Plan’ available from IACUC.
