The Clery Act - Annual Fire Safety Report & 60 Day Fire Log

The university is committed to providing a safe and secure campus environment for our students, faculty, staff and visitors. In accordance with the “Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act” (Clery Act), UC Santa Barbara publishes an Annual Security & Fire Safety Report and maintains a 60 Day Fire Log to ensure reasonable and consistent notification of fire related incidents within on-campus student housing facilities. The Annual Security & Fire Safety Report contains fire safety-related policy statements as well as fire safety systems and fire statistics for the most recent three calendar years in on-campus student housing facilities. It also includes information about crime prevention and reporting; emergency response and evacuation; emergency notifications and timely warnings; alcohol, drug, and weapons policies; sexual violence prevention and response policies and procedures; and other campus safety topics, as well as crime statistics for the most recent three calendar years. A hard copy of this report is available upon request by contacting the UC Santa Barbara Police Department at (805) 893-3446 or Public Safety Building #574.
